Product Transaction Ranking
Ranks products by quantity, amount or profit for one transaction type of your choice (for example purchase inbound, damage outbound or sales outbound) in a date range.
Menu: Reports › Ranking Reports › Product Transaction Ranking
What it's for
Use it to answer questions such as "which products did we buy the most of?", "which products are damaged most often?" or "which products do customers return most?". Choose the type in Transaction in the filters.
The operations manager chooses Transaction Damage Outbound for the last quarter: Eggs (tray) is first with 86 trays. She changes the storage and the supplier's delivery schedule.
Options on the screen
- In the filters: Branch, Transaction (the transaction type to rank by) and the dates.
- At the bottom, Click to Show Summary: Total Qty, Overall Avg Price, Total Amount, Total Profit and Total Inventory.
Filters
Click Filters to narrow the report. You can filter by:
Branch, Transaction, Trans. Date, Barcode, Stock No., Product Name, Chinese Name, Brand, Parent Category, Category, Supplier, Inventory Status, Product Image.
Columns
| Column | What it shows |

| Product Name | The product name. |
| Parent Category | The category one level above the product's category. |
| Supplier | The product's default supplier. |
| Qty | Quantity on transactions of the chosen type. |
| Average Price | Average price on those transactions. |
| Amount | Amount on those transactions. |
| Profit | Profit on those transactions (for sales). |
| Inventory | Current stock, in the product's default unit. |
Also shows: Barcode, Stock No., Chinese Name, Brand, Category.
