Category POS Sales Report

Shows POS sales per category for a period: quantity, amount and profit, with totals.

What it's for​

Use it to see which categories sell at the POS, for example to plan store layout or a category promotion. Filter by customer type, salesman or brand to narrow it down.

Example

For November, Beverages sold 12,400 items worth 310,000.00 at the POS, Snacks 9,800 items. The manager gives beverages the end-cap display for December.

Filters​

Click Filters to narrow the report. You can filter by:

For Location, Category Tag, Category, Trans. Date, Voided, Void Date/Time, Customer Type, Salesman, Created Date, Product Brand.

Columns​

ColumnWhat it shows
Parent CategoryThe category one level above the product's category.
