Parent Category POS Sales Report

Shows POS sales per parent category for a period, with quantity, cost, amount, profit and profit percentage.

What it's for

Use it for a department-level view of POS sales and margins.

Example

The owner compares Fresh, Grocery and Non-Food for the quarter: Fresh has the highest sales but the lowest Total Profit Percentage.

Filters

Click Filters to narrow the report. You can filter by:

For Location, Category Tag, Category, Trans. Date, Voided, Void Date/Time, Customer Type, Salesman, Created Date, Product Brand.

Columns

Column	What it shows
Category Code	The parent category code.
Category	The parent category.
Total Profit Percentage	Total profit as a percentage of the total amount.
