What it's for

Use it for accounts receivable: at month end, before extending credit, or to send statements. Choose whether checks that aren't deposited yet count as paid (Consider "Pending Deposit Checks" as Paid). Filter Balance Due to see only customers with a balance.

Example

ABC Grocery: Sales 180,000.00, Paid 140,000.00, Pending Deposit Checks 20,000.00 (a post-dated check), Return 3,500.00, Balance Due 16,500.00. Since the check hasn't cleared, the manager waits before approving a new credit order.

Options on the screen

  • Consider "Pending Deposit Checks" as Paid: tick to treat undeposited checks as paid.
  • In the filters: Branch, Trans. Date, the customer, Transaction (with or without transactions) and Balance Due (with or without balance).
  • At the bottom: Total Sales, Total Paid, Total Unpaid, Total Return, Total Refund and Total Due.

Filters

Click Filters to narrow the report. You can filter by:

Branch, Trans. Date, Customer, Transaction, Balance Due.
