Step by step

  1. Take the order. Open Sales and Other Income › Sales, choose the Customer, add products, and approve.
  2. Release the goods. Tick the sales order and click Create Sales Outbound, or create a Sales Outbound directly. Approve it when the goods leave. If the customer pays now, add the payment with Collection Detail before approving.
  3. Collect. For credit customers, create a Collection when they pay, or click Create Collection on the outbound. For many invoices, first group them in a Counter and collect the counter.
  4. Follow up on unpaid balances with Customer Balance and Collection Due Warning.
Credit limit

If the customer has a Credit Limit, CIRMS warns you when a sale would take them over it. See Credit limit.
