Picking List

A picking list tells warehouse staff which products to pick for one or more sales, where they are (Bin Location) and how many. Pickers scan items as they pick, so you can see what's still left to pick.

How to create a picking list

Required permission
Others › Picking List › Create

Picking lists are created from sales transactions:

  1. In the Sales (or Sales Outbound) list, tick the transactions to pick.
  2. Click Generate Pick List in the toolbar.

Each of those transactions then shows a link to its Picking List at the bottom right.

The picking list shows the Type of Trans, List of Sheet Nos. and Customer, and one row per product with its Bin Location, Total Qty, Qty Picked and Qty Remain.

How to pick

  1. Open the picking list from Others › Picking List.
  2. For each item, scan its barcode in Scan (set Qty first if you're picking several at once). The picked quantity updates.
  3. When everything is picked, click Save and Print.
tip

Click the 📱 (Mobile View) icon for a layout that works on a phone or handheld scanner.

The summary shows Total Items, Total Picked Qty and Total Remaining Qty.

Example

The warehouse has 6 approved sales orders for tomorrow's deliveries. It ticks them in the sales list and clicks Generate Pick List: one picking list with 42 products sorted by Bin Location. The picker walks the aisles with a handheld in Mobile View, scanning each item; Qty Remain shows what's left. When everything is picked, the sales outbounds are created and the goods are checked in Inspection Mode before loading.
