Enable Sorting Feature in Product List​

Activate the sorting feature in the Product List Module to arrange products according to your preferred order

Choices: Enabled / Disabled

  • Enabled: the product list, Express Product Input and the product selector show a sort control so users can order the products by a column.
  • Disabled: no sort control; products keep the default order.

Affects: Whole system, Product

Enable auto display of total Row Count of Product in Product List, will cause slow down in loading if enabled​

Enable the automatic display of the total product row count in the Product List Module. Please note that this may impact loading speed when enabled

Choices: Enabled / Disabled

  • Enabled: the product list and product selector count all matching products, so the total and the number of pages show straight away. This is slower with many products.
  • Disabled: products load page by page without counting; the total shows only when you click to show it.

Allow product name searching to ignore special characters?​

Allow product name searches to disregard special characters for improved search flexibility.

Choices: Yes / No

  • Yes: when searching by product name, spaces and symbols are ignored on both sides, so "coca cola" also finds "Coca-Cola".
  • No: the name is searched as typed.

Affects: Product, Purchase Return, Inventory Transaction Summary Report, POS Sales Report, Item Price History Report, Sales Outbound, Sales Return, Sales, Stock Delivery Outbound, Stock Requests (From Other Branches), Stock Requests (To Other Branches)

Allow deletion of Products with non-zero inventory?​

Enable the deletion of products even if they have a non-zero inventory

Choices: Yes / No

  • Yes: products can be deleted even if they still have stock in some location.
  • No: deleting a product that has stock anywhere is refused.

Set filename format for feature "Download Product Image" output file​

Configure Filename Format for "Download Product Image" Output File

Choices: Stock No. + Original Filename / Default Barcode + Original Filename / Product Name + Original Filename

When you download product images (as a ZIP) from the product list, each file name starts with the stock no., default barcode or product name, followed by the original file name.
