Stock Delivery

A stock delivery lists products you plan to send to another branch.

A stock delivery does not change stock

Stock leaves your branch only when you approve a Stock Delivery Outbound. You can skip this module and create a Stock Delivery Outbound directly.

For buttons, statuses and approvals shared by all transactions, see Working with transactions.

How to send the stock (create a Stock Delivery Outbound)

Required permission
Stock Transferring › Stock Delivery Outbound › Create
  1. In the stock delivery list, tick the approved deliveries.
  2. Click the Create Stock Delivery Outbound icon in the toolbar.
  3. Check the quantities and choose the Approval Status of the new outbound: Draft or, if you can approve stock delivery outbounds, Approved.
  4. Click the 🧺 (create) button.

Approve the new Stock Delivery Outbound to take the stock out of your branch. See Stock Delivery Outbound.

What approval does

An approved stock delivery doesn't move stock yet: it reserves the quantities at your branch (they count in Reserved Qty and are no longer Avail. Inv), and it's the list the warehouse picks from. Stock leaves only with the Stock Delivery Outbound.

Example

The warehouse plans Monday's truck to Store 2: a stock delivery with the 48 towels requested and 24 bottles of shampoo the store didn't ask for but needs. It's approved on Friday so the goods are reserved over the weekend; on Monday the outbound is created from it.
