Price Adjustment Request
A price adjustment request is how a branch asks for new prices on its products. It goes through two approvals: the requesting branch approves it, then the main branch approves it, and the new prices take effect.

For buttons, statuses and approvals shared by all transactions, see Working with transactions.
How to request new prices
- Open Others › Price Adjustment Request and click ⊕ (Add New Transaction).
- Check Created For and Request by, and add Remarks explaining the change.
- Add the products (by Scan, the product selector, or Import Excel). Each row shows the current prices.
- Enter the new prices: Purchase Price, Wholesale, Retail and Price A–Price E. The % Profit (W.S) and % Profit (Retail) update as you type.
- Save, then submit it with For Approval.
How requests are approved
- The requesting branch uses Branch Request Approval (or Branch Request Decline).
- The main branch then uses Approve (or Decline). The new prices take effect when it's approved.
The list shows each request's Request Status and Approval Status.
You can also start a request from an approved Purchase Inbound, so a new purchase cost can be passed on to selling prices.
Example
Store 2's manager wants to lower Detergent 1 kg from 120.00 to 112.00 to match a competitor. She creates a request with the new Retail 112.00 (the % Profit (Retail) drops from 22% to 16%) and remarks Competitor across the street at 112. Her branch approves it with Branch Request Approval; the main branch's pricing officer then approves it, and the new price applies to Store 2 and is logged in the Item Price History Report.
