What it's for

Use it to find products about to run out (few days of supply) and overstocked products (many days). Days of Supply = Total Inventory ÷ (Sold Qty ÷ number of days in the Transaction Date range). It is empty when nothing was sold in the period.

Example

With the last 30 days as Transaction Date, Shampoo Sachet has Inventory 150, Intransit Qty 50 and sold 600: 200 ÷ (600 ÷ 30) = 10 days of supply. The supplier needs 14 days to deliver, so the buyer orders today.
