Product Periodic Sales Report

Shows how much of each product was sold in each month of a period, with its current stock, so you can compare months.

What it's for

Use it to spot seasonal products, growing and falling sellers, and to plan orders: each month in the range gets its own Total Amount and Total Qty column, followed by the totals for the whole period.

Example

Before ordering for the rainy season, the buyer sets From June 2025 and To September 2025 and filters the category Umbrellas. Folding Umbrella sold 40, 310, 420 and 380 pieces in those months, and has 55 in stock, so she orders early for June this year.

Options on the screen

• From / To: the first and last month (month and year).
• Branch: the branches whose sales are counted.
• With Transactions: tick to show only products sold in the period.

Filters

Click Filters to narrow the report. You can filter by:

Stock No., Default Barcode, Name, Chinese Name, Status, Default Supplier, Supplier, Category Tag, Category, Brand, Date Created, Last Modified, Inventory Status, Group Type, Memo, Description, Supplier SKU, Senior, Management Type, Product Tag, Last PI Date, All.

Columns

Column	What it shows
Product	The product name.
Parent Category	The category one level above the product's category.
Supplier	The product's default supplier.
Memo	The product memo.
Product Tags	The product's tags.
Status	The product's status: Active, Inactive or Discontinued.
Cost	The product's purchase price (cost) in the branch.
Retail	The product's retail price in the branch.
Main Inv.	Stock in the main branch.
Inventory	Current stock, in the product's default unit.
Reserved Qty	Quantity on approved outgoing orders not yet shipped (sales, purchase returns, damages, stock deliveries, stock returns).
Requested Qty	Quantity on approved incoming orders not yet received (purchase orders, sales returns, stock requests).
Projected Inventory	Available inventory plus Requested Qty: stock once everything pending is done.
Total Amount	Sales amount for the whole period (each month also has its own column).
Total Qty	Quantity sold in the whole period (each month also has its own column).
Last PI Date	Date of the last purchase inbound of the product.
Last PI Qty	Quantity of the last purchase inbound.

Also shows: Barcode, Stock No., Chinese Name, Description, Brand, Category.
