Bank Account
Your company's bank accounts. They're chosen when you pay by check or bank deposit, and when you deposit checks and post charges.

How to add a record

Open Data › Bank Account.

In the empty row at the bottom of the list, fill in:
Field What to enter Bank The bank. Account Number The account number. Account Name The account name. Opening Balance The balance when you started using CIRMS. Branch Access Which branches can use this account. Enable in Web Tick to make it available in the web system. -
Click ✔ at the end of the row to save it.
To change a record, edit it in the list and click ✔ (requires Data › Bank Account › Update). To delete one, click 🗑 (requires Data › Bank Account › Delete). You can't delete a record that's already in use.
To add many records at once, use Import in the toolbar (requires Data › Bank Account › Import Excel).
How it's used. Payments, collections and down payments by check or bank deposit, Bank Transaction entries and card charge posting all name the bank account the money goes to or comes from. The Bank Transaction Report shows each account's movements, starting from its Opening Balance. Branch Access limits which branches can pick the account, and a user can also be limited to certain accounts on the Bank Account Permissions tab of User.
Example. The company's current account at BDO: Bank BDO, Account Number 0012-3456-78, Account Name ABC Trading Inc., Opening Balance 250,000.00 (the bank balance on the day you start using CIRMS), Branch Access all branches, Enable in Web ticked.
