Brand

Brands group products by manufacturer or label. Every product has a Brand, and many reports can be filtered by it.

How to add a record

Required permission

Data › Brand › Create

1. Open Data › Brand.

2. In the empty row at the bottom of the list, fill in:

   Field	What to enter
   Code	A short code.
   Name	The brand name (required).
   Remarks	Optional notes.

3. Click ✔ at the end of the row to save it.

To change a record, edit it in the list and click ✔ (requires Data › Brand › Update). To delete one, click 🗑 (requires Data › Brand › Delete).

Click the icon in the Branch Promoter column to assign brand promoters per branch (requires Data › Brand › Edit Branch Promoter).

To add many records at once, use Import in the toolbar (requires Data › Brand › Import Excel).

Example. Add Nescafé and Milo as brands; set each coffee product's Brand to Nescafé. You can then filter the product list, the Brand Monthly Sales Ranking and other reports by brand, and assign a promoter per branch in Branch Promoter Detail (see the Brand Promoter report).

Deleting a brand that products use: CIRMS opens Product Brand (Choose to update product info.). Click the brand the products should move to; CIRMS moves them and then deletes the old brand.
