Disc/Adj Type

The types of discount or adjustment you can add to a whole transaction with Discount / Adjustment, for example Loyalty Discount or Freight.

Menu: Data › Disc/Adj Type

How to add a record​

Required permission
Data › Disc/Adj Type › Create

  1. Open Data › Disc/Adj Type.

  2. In the empty row at the bottom of the list, fill in:

    FieldWhat to enter
    CodeA short code.
    NameThe discount or adjustment type (required).

  3. Click ✔ at the end of the row to save it.

To change a record, edit it in the list and click ✔ (requires Data › Disc/Adj Type › Update). To delete one, click 🗑 (requires Data › Disc/Adj Type › Delete). You can't delete a record that's already in use.

To add many records at once, use Import in the toolbar (requires Data › Disc/Adj Type › Import Excel).

Example. Add Loyalty Discount, Freight Charge and Rounding. On a sales outbound, the salesman adds a Discount / Adjustment line Loyalty Discount of 3% and Freight Charge of +500.00; the transaction's net total includes both, and the types can be analysed later.
